This policy explains what personal data Thunderbolt SA collects through this website (tbolt.ae), why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Thunderbolt SA — Energy Systems (“Thunderbolt”, “we”, “us”), a manufacturer of custom battery packs and UPS systems registered in the Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. We are the controller responsible for your personal data.

2. What data we collect

  • Information you give us through the quote / contact form: your name, phone number, email address, and the content of your enquiry or technical brief.
  • Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser type and basic server logs, used to keep the site secure and working.
  • Cookies / local storage: a small functional flag that remembers you have seen our cookie notice. See section 6.

We do not intentionally collect special-category data, and the site is not directed to children.

3. Why we use it (legal basis)

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote — on the basis of your request and our legitimate interest in answering you.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website — on the basis of our legitimate interest.
  • To meet legal or accounting obligations where applicable.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us run the business — for example website hosting and email providers — strictly to deliver the service to you, and with authorities where required by law.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and record-keeping, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential, functional storage that remembers your cookie choice. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies — such as Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — to measure traffic and the performance of our advertising. These load only after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner; if you choose “Reject”, they are not set. You can change your decision at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address to serve the fonts.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@tbolt.ae. You also have the right to complain to the competent data-protection authority.

8. International processing

Your data is processed in the United Arab Emirates and may be processed by our service providers in other countries. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last revised.
